Anyone know of any good software to use to convert DVD full movies to MPEG format? Any suggestions at Frys?

There's lots of free (and good) software out there to do it yourself. Handbrake is pretty popular, but I could never get it to work 100%. VLC can rip, but I've never used it. I've always used DVD Decrypter and then converted it using ANVSoft to MP4. Not the most efficient way, but it's always worked.

I also use DVD Decrypter but another program to convert it to MP4. Then I put them on my tablet for plane trips.
