Hey fellas, theres been and 96 saleen on cl for a while, new paint, smogged, new oem decals, but 150k miles, what would a fair price be for it?

Man, its hard to get a nice car for a fair price, I offered him 6500 and he turned it down. I like it but cannot justify the price.

Is it the one with mismatched Saleen wheels? If nto, what serial # is it? I used to own a black Saleen s/n: #1996-714

Post a link.no blower means it is dogshit slow. Even if it had a blower it would still be slow lol. I'd give him 5k

Mismatched wheels, filthy engine bay, and worn out interior with 150k on the slowest of the SN95's that gets outperformed by V6 Accords/Altimas. I understand the appeal behind Saleens and I think it is one of the best looking exterior wise but not worth $8k, nor $6k.

4v or nothing for that price, that engine bay looks like it has never been cleaned or touched since 96 150k all you will be doing is replacing alot shit at this point Go through the tech section and see what others are having problems with their 96-04 2v's.
also like some others pointed out 96 had alot of cooling issues due to using left over 95 parts.

Hell ya they did, i had my first 96 for about 2 months, just sold it, will never buy another 96, ever!!

There is a guy who has a mystic cobra just like this body style on Cafacebook edition. He wants 5.5k for it, the car needs to smog and insured; however, he's the getting a pink slip in a week. The car was from Texas too. Interior is clean.
