Funny video. That guy sounded scared that he wasn't going to get his rifle back. Ya, the cop was jumpy, but if he would have kept his cool, and spoke to the officer calmly, explained what he was doing and how he was doing it, the initial reaction probably would have been better. Getting defensive, jumping out with the I'm going to sue you stuff doesn't make it better.

I lived in NV for few years and I open carried every where! It was cool, the cops there are used to it so I never got questioned, but I think the cops should have the right to ask for your ID and do a background check on you. I think open carry is our right but its also the cops job to make sure your not a criminal!
Just my .02 cents!!!

Completely agree with you man I am ALL FOR open carry CCW and gun right but if a police officer is talking to you asking your info don't be a dick. All they basically want to know is you're not a felon and don't have warrants. Too many gun guys out there buy a weapon and think they are Airborne Special Forces fuckin agent orange!

The guy has his right to have his weapon, but dont be a fucking idiot and have it clearly pointing to the side. I am all for our gun rights, but lets be honest I wouldn't want my kids walking on that sidewalk with the gun pointed at them either. At least have it pointing to the ground.

I am all for the 2nd amendament. I own multiple firearms. But if you do this, you are asking for trouble. Why bother with this, cost the tax payer money and cause terror in your neighborhood.

Well I get protesting your point. I too own many firearms but would have gone about it different also. Sometimes things like this, you may wanna give the local pd a heads up on your intent and what you plan to do. They will probably be willing to work with you more than you think if you show some respect by doing this.
