so long story short. I got a dui in april had court in june. did my fine $50 a month went to my aa classes. then I had open heart surgery august 20th couldn't do anything. they gave me 4 weeks off then wanted me to go to meetings etc and I was still hurt, had water weight and frankly couldn't do anything had the emts to my house 3 times. well I moved and haven't contacted them. but im looking for a place to rent and most do background checks. will a bench warrant show up. I do plan to call tomorrow and try to get things cleared. not even a month ago I was cleared for work.
anyone know if bench warrants show up

DUI isn't what they look for on background checks, usually sexual offenders, felons, bad check writing type crimes are what they are after. DUI failure to pay traffic tickets not a big deal

im still about 30lbs bigger now and still hurt and getting back to normal {b4 surgery status} some people say it takes a year some say longer.
so I have a failure to pay bench warrant and a failure to comply bench warrant. I live in a different county 5 hrs away. same state.
im looking at renting an apartment and going to start looking for a job now im clear to work {I got cleared from a heart doctor December 30th 2013. my surgery was august 20th 2013.

Can't you contact a public defender? Just tell them the truth. Clear your name. Its not like you robbed a bank and you are on the run!

I think DUI stuff should be easy to clear up specially given your medical condition. Glad to see you are doing well

DUI will show up on a background check. I use to do background checks.

im clean. weed is legal here in wa. ive smoked 2x since my surgery and drank less then 5x. I know im clean. I was drinking every day so Im doing good. having your chest opened and having 2 kids sure opens your eyes.
I know the dui will show up but the fact I have a warrant will that show?
