Hope this isn't tech talk since it's not a problem I'm having..

Just wondering, while I wait for my Brembo's to be powdercoated, I think I will buy new pads and new SS lines (got them with unused rotors).

I've never upgraded my brakes so I'm not sure what to get as far as brand or kind etc.

American Muscle sells the Boss Brake lines which are front and rear and appear to be SS, but I don't know if they're braided. The other sets seem to be twice the cost??

For pads, I just don't want the factory pads as they leave a LOT of brake dust..

Any suggestions are great! [patriot]

If the lines are listed as ss then yes they are braided they wouldnt be flexible if not. As far as pads look into hawk brand they work well dont produce alot of dust

I will second the hawk recommendation. The skip barber driving school instructors recommended them too me and I
really like them.

Hawk HPS pads are a great pad for the street at a good price.

Street for $134 or Street/strip for $130?

The street and strip will squeak a little bit when they get hot due to the higher metallic content. I have em on my cobra. Other than that they have been great
