I didn't feel the need to watch either one. Nothing anyone in the democrat or republican party will change how I'm planning on voting in November. I'll just leave it at that for now.

If you look back to the Republican Convention where the high light was Clint Eastwood talking to an empty chair in front of a virtually all white and older crowd, the Democratic convention was full of highlights:
Bill Clinton's Speech that hit a home run right out of the park, Michele Obama's speech where she said " when you walk through the door of opportunity, you don't slam it shut on the person behind you."
The president of the United States Barack Obama making his case to the American people.
One other Big difference between the Democratic and republican convention: the crowd: Basically nothing but older white people at the Republican convention and no children while at the Democratic convention, the crowd had white, black, asian Hispanic, indian Arab.... and children
If you want America to be a place were every one has a chance to succeed, not just the wealthy and well connected, then you must vote for Barack Obama!

We gave obummer a chance and he's the first president since jimmy carter to not have any growth. Government is in a lot more shit than they were before. Obummers gonna end up like the last 1 term president, who was that again? Yep carter, adios.

I have to agree. Facts are facts..... You can only bash the previous administration for your lack of improvement for so long.
I can tell you right now from experience in the school food service industry that things are worse now then in previous years. Healthy foods are already being served. We didn't need our First Lady ( who could afford to miss a few meals herself ) doesn't need to go out there and bash the school lunch program... The real problem with childhood obesity is kids don't get any exercise. We cut P.E classes and have children who are addicted to technology. Kids don't burn off calories like we did as kids.
Oh and along with breakfast, snacks & lunch being served.... For free and reduced lunches. We are also paying for DINNERS. Yep that's right tax payers...... Our kids are getting everymeal for free or damn near free at our public schools. ![[BS flag]](graemlins/bs_flag.gif)
If you think this is a great thing, then vote for Obama and the democrat party. Just remember when your getting less on your paycheck you voted for this type of government spending.

It makes me feel real good that my tax dollars are being spent on free lunches for poor kids!
You are just like the rest of the Republican scum that have no problem giving tax breaks to oil companies that already make billions in profits or millionaires that pay less in taxes that a teacher or a plumber, but cry a river when poor kids are getting a free lunch. you should be ashamed of your self for being so selfish.

I dont like how the democratic party makes it look cool to be poor and people that make good money are evil. It used to be people would come to the usa with the notion that if you work hard, you'll eventually prosper (unfortunately, doesnt happen all the time but we're not in a perfect world). So now they want to bash the people who worked hard, took chances, and suceeded. Not to mention the rich are the ones who sign our checks! Its fuckin stupid to me...

I like this Stan. Obama is saying its ok to be poor and now we can all be poor together.

A great man said "President Obama inherited a wreck of an economy. Republicans left him a total mess, he hasn't finished cleaning it up yet, so fire him and put us back in.
