Awesome car but that was the most boring video I have ever seen. I would have liked to at least hear it get above 3k rpms...

I like it! Looks like it was put together really well from front to rear.

Very nice car. I wouldn't be surprised if the car cost $100K by the time it hits the showroom floors. Viper vs New GT500? It is all in the launch. With both cars with 640/650hp it is going to be dicey with street tires. However..with launch control I say Shelby takes it (I will have a new shelby in June/July of this year so I will see how it does close up as far as launching goes:).

you people and your gt500 shit are funny!!! dont get me wrong i luv luv the new gt500..but the viper will weight prolly close to 800 pounds less then the gt500.. get your head on straight!!! the gt500 will be a close run with stock c6 z06.. and get shit on by the viper.. good day!

The current GT500 is definitely not a match for the current Z06. We are talking about a 7mph difference in trap speed and that is what the extra pounds on the GT500 will do to a car (even with lots of power but no traction). Since the new GT500 is being upgraded with an additional 100 hp, better traction (love the launch control idea), and better aerodynamics it will be better comparison now. Still we shouldn't be comparing these cars (apples<54K> vs oranges<74K>) as the vette and viper are what should be compared to each other. The GT500 competitor is the camaro..not the vette.
