Damn now that's a freak accident. Good thing it didn't happen in front of the fans. Something in his his steering obviously failed. I wonder if they will be able to finish the race.

JPM's rearend locked up. They were trying to work on it in the pits right before that. You could see them rocking the left rear forward and back. Probably just seized the gears up.
The driver of the Jet dryer is lucky. Figure JPM was doing about 100, maybe more when it locked up and slammed into him. Half of the track workers rush too much, to buckle up, I bet now they all make sure they do.
