Kobalt at lowes has one for 250 1/2 inch cordless 2 batterys ion and charger. 2200 impact strength. Wondering if anyone else knows a good brand? Dewalt has one on amazon for 250 aso with 2600 impact

Buy a Snap On one they come with a guarantee easy to replace IFF they brake

I used to own the cordless Kobalt, prior to the lithium batterys, and it was decent. It could break most lug nuts loose. Just very large and heavy. Although with the new batterys, it may be less awkward.
Now my snap-on one is the shit, and I have yet to find anything that cant be broke loose by it. But cost me a pretty penny.

Go with the DeWalt...
Kobalt seems a bit on the low quality side....
I have a Makita and I like it...
It beats firing up the compressor to use an impact gun any day...
Although, I've only used it to unbolt wheels lugs....

I've used a cordless Snap-On one and those are hands down the best I've seen. I don't have one though, I do all my work in my garage so I can get by with my air impacts and don't need to pay the cost for a Snap-On. I've also seen some lower quality ones that didn't seem to work well at all to me. I think one was Ryobi or however it's spelled.

the dewalt. better warranty that you wont even have to use. the snap on is dope, but seen break or go out, and they cost a bundle!that snap on dont warranty after a short time, aint seen a dewalt one break yet, and only a 1/4 the price. the pros are all the above! the cons there expensive lol.

I use the dewalt, the big one rated at 300ft lbs. With two batteries I can easily get through a race weekend which requires multiple changes of all four tires. It takes off lugnuts easily. I also have a smaller 12v dewalt that is really handy for getting into tighter spots. Snap on and hilti are better but dewalt makes a good product for the price.

The ryobi 18v at home depot will NOT break my lug nuts loose. I use it for other light duty tasks but not lug nuts which is why i bought it.

This is the one I have... My brother has a snap on, and I prefer his over mine. its lighter and seems to have more torque than mine.
