Yes, it's been done on cars as well. There is a Chevy wagon with twin blowers that shows up at the GoodGuys.

There probably isn't a huge market for a motor like that, but I'd be willing to bet that motor cost a lot more than that to build.

I'm wondering if you could fit that particular motor in a car... That would be sick!

Looks cool, but you could probably get the same results with a single 8-71 blower.

Twin supercharging is very common, albeit a dying technology, in marine applications. It is usually twin positive displacement compressors and the reason is, the two together generate boost while keeping rotor speeds to a minimum which increases longevity of the power unit as a whole.

lol it's worth the money.. cheap ass people have no clue what you are even looking at.. [patriot]

"all aluminum 604 cubic inch Indy engine".. this isn't your fully built stock bottom end 306. it's close to $5k for the bare block. another 6-7k for rotating assemble. 6-9k in heads. most of you can't even afford the block let alone everything else..

yeah you could DEF spend that much and then some building that motor. but If I was sitting on $26k and thinking of building a motor, not sure if I'd be combing through CL.

yeah easy.. i bet he has upwards of 45k into this motor. if he gave a full break down of parts you could get a better idea..i'm thinking he has atleast 25k into it with out the 2 chargers. i bet that is another 15k. if i was looking for a big block hemi, i'd be all over this.
