It shows your amp to be 2 ohm stable, so it should be fine. Run the positive from your amp to the positive on one coil and the negative from the amp to the negative of the other coil. Now run a wire from the vacant negative directly to the vacant positive on the other coil. You are now at 2 ohms.

Never used a breaker on an amp but you will need to have a fuse installed at the amp power cable as close to the battery lead as possible that matches the same amperage as the fuse for your amplifier.

Connect both positives on the sub together and both negatives together, then connect to the amp, that puts you at 2 ohms. That amp will take a 2 ohm load so don't worry about it, just make sure not to crank the gain all the way up or the signal will start clipping and you'll overheat the amp. The dude that told you to connect the sub the neg to the other positive terminal was wrong, you'll end up running it at 8 ohms. The only thing the fuse does is protect the power wire from burning if there's a short, it won't protect your amp or speaker. I'm running a breaker myself but will be switching to a fuse since they seem to be safer to run.

I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong. But the parallel diagram you just provided will keep everything at 4 ohms. Running in series is what typically cuts the resistance in half. What this diagram shows is to 4 ohm coils doubled to 8 ohms by running parallel the cut in 2 by the 2 ohms the amp is providing which equates to a 4 ohm load. ??? If I'm wrong, I would appreciate an explanation with details. Thanks in advance.
