Man that sucks! I have had it 2 times in the last 3 months. Both time I believe it was from Pizza. you have to let it take its course. drink some 7up, it seems to settle the stomach a little. Even tho you are probably not hungry, I forced my self to eat some chicken soup and some bread. it helped as well. It's easier to deal with it when you are sleeping...

Some of the worst experiences of my life have been food poisoning/stomach virus related.
I'd estimate that I've had 4-5 of these 24hr bugs where I am literally puking every 20 minutes for 24hrs. After a couple hrs of this you feel like death, and it's just the beginning.
Just awful, I feel your pain.
Best advice is be careful what you eat, make sure it's not expired, make sure it's clean, make sure you are eating off clean surfaces, and that your hands are clean.
When in doubt, toss it. It's simply not worth it!

Last time that shit happens to me couldn't eat nothing for three days it was straight Niagara fall. I had to go to the hospital was seeing blury and off balance had no fluids In my system stomach couldn't holdem. Hope it passes for you quick

Man, thats crazy.... I just seen this topic. Yesterday I worked half day cuz it was my teams 1st game. I coach HS basketball. We are from San Jose and the tournament was in Salinas. Anyways, long story short.. I picked up some pizza my heart then went home to get ready...as soon as I finished 2 slices...instant pissy butt. Non stop and I had to be on the road in an hour. I almost wanted to shed tears cuz that drive is about 1hr & 15 minutes without traffic and we were leaving at about 4:30pm. Popped 2 Imodiums and said a gang of prayers... Made it there for the game and made it back in one piece. Crazy!!!

I think there is very liberal usage of the word food poisoning here. Real food poisoning will be brief and intense (out of both ends). At first, you think you're going to die. The, you are afraid you AREN'T going to die. Drinking liquids won't help, because it'll come right back up. Best thing to do for REAL food poisoning is go to the hospital and get an IV. When I had it, I could barely walk much less feel the need to post on an internet message board
