it sucks. when i had it they hooked me up to a breathing machine and it really helped to clear out my lungs

Yup had it off and on when i was kid. almost every time i caught cold/flu. Asthma induced.

+1 it took me about two months to get back to normal. Its specially harder when you are older. take care of yourself cause it could kill you. Did they give you an inhaler with some medication?

ya they gave me an inhaler. i was sick a few days before it happened and it just got worse. it took like a week to get back to normal. the thing is i never have smoked. been fine ever since.

That can turn to mono real quick so keep track of how much your sleeping and eating. I had it once, lost 50lbs in 2 1/2 weeks and ended up in the hospital with IV's so I could function again. I didnt recover from it for about 3 months and it took a couple years to get the weight back on. Dont mess with it and if you feel any worse go to the doctor.
