if fee's havent been raised between 150-225 thats how much mine was,the chp wrote me down for 75...
if you acted cool and didnt make a scene the cop might not remember you.All you have to do is get as many extensions as you can and before the last extension is up tell em you want to plead not guilty and go to traffic court.

The fee depends on the county. I got a speeding ticket for doing 70 in a 55 zone in copperopolis and it cost me $368 and my fiance got one in Stockton for the same speed difference and it was $125. The traffic school will keep your insurance rates from going up.
If you dont have the cash for the ticket, go to court and see if you can do some community service in place of the fee.

I lost mine at 16...
Brake stand into a left turn fishtail through an intersection right in front of a cop parked across the street that I somehow managed to miss, LOL
2 point, 320 dollar ticket was reduced to 1 point and 160 dollars. This happened in Berkeley in 1997.
I have not received a moving violation since but have several fix-it tickets to show for
