Anyone know if there is a place to get a tune in stockton or somewhere reasonably close?

well this place on wilson does tuning and has a dyno jet he mostly does imports but i do see some mustangs there from time to time

right when you get off the 99 on wilson its a bunch of lil car shops on the side that does paint and they do tuning n the other side its right next to the 99 speedway

I've been there, that is a honda shop, I would not trust that guy with a mustang.
Make the 10 minute drive to Modesto and let Billy at Vendicated take care of it, at least you know it will be done RIGHT by someone who knows mustangs...

yeah or you could do that i talked to the guy in stockton a few times he seemed to know his stuff but yeha i wana tune too but only thing is a i have a diablosport and dnt wana spend more money on another tuner just to get a tune

vendicated would be my choice. but call around see what they have to say aed and all out performance are other tuners in the area but dont go to a import tuner. you would be asking for it

I take back my recommendation, hopefully you haven't take it to him yet.
Billy screwed up my gear install and didn't measure the backlash. Now I'm left with a screwed up rear and out a bunch of money. And he won't return phone calls/ voicemails/ text messages or emails. Thanks Billy. ![[Mad]](mad.gif)

You didnt try going to his shop? But no I have not taken it to anyone yet, car has been the furthest thing from my mind lately. But thanks for sharing your experience, I will definitely keep it in mind.

why do you need a tune anyways N8? Isn't your car pretty much a stock rebuild?
