How deep are your pockets?

A ballpark guess would be $350-400 in machine work, and anywhere from $250-450 assembly.

I had a 351w done at Elby's Machine a few years ago and that was about the cost. I had the block tanked, bored .020 over, the crank ground .010 on the rods and mains, ARP bolts installed on the rods so that required the big ends to be resized, pistons installed on the rods and had it all balanced.

Well pockets arent too Deep.. UPS Sucks haha..
Left a machine shop today. got quoted $500 flat to bore and assemble the short block.

Any input on what pistons to get to run nitrous... also what about rod/ some saystock is ok. I Will be running about a 150-175 shot prob.

Not looking to have a super strong motor.. Just a budget bottom end that will take the NOS with not to many problems..

Will only be used for about a couple months, mainly doing this cause I want a cam. Makes no sense to install a cam in my motor now when i can start off fresh
