does this price seem within reason for a shop to charge $550 for 4.10 gear install in my car?

If the price includes gears and rebuilding the trac-loc might not be too bad.

i had a full rebuild wheels bearings an all, clutches i mean everything. an paid alittle more than that. so ya depends on what ur getting. sounds about right.

i paid 300 for a install on 4:10's rebuild the diff and install all new seals and bearings.. guy does top notch stuff.. hes done the rear end out of my old trans am.. my buddys trans am and my 8.8 all of them being 4:10s with no whine at all..
