just running some innersheild .035 wire for now. tanks an gas is expensive. got to sell some more parts to buy that next. heres some nasty pics. just trying to get the hang of it again, havent been welding in like a year. it'll come back soon enough. an cant wait to weld with gas. remember just practice welds 4"pipe an hanger. the innersheild wire is gonna have alot o that splatter but it comes right off.

I might buy a welder soon. Is there a big difference between gas and non gas?

the welds come out alot cleaner. more fumes but cleaner.

i dont mind but u might be able to find someone local.. but i could throw it in the back of the truck, i have a 55foot extension so as long as ur 220 outlet isnt to far away i'm good. i'm not the best but i'll try.

get your isolation equal and you got it
i have only welded with gas and never welded with inner shield wire before, looks like you pull your welds.

ya ur welds look really good.. i think next time i sell an item I'm going to go buy my tank an gas. about what size tank will i need i just told the size that comes up to my hip side. Ya i like to weld, been welding for about 5yrs at my work at NUMMI. just really have been this last yr from being hurt. I want to go take some classes for welding but my wife looked it up an think it said i need to have electrical classes first.
