I'm hopping Ortiz wins, cuase he's gonna look like a fool after talking all the shit he is...
BJ Penn is really good, I just don't like him....
V. silva is going to knock Jardine out, but I bet Jardine is gonna throw some visious leg kicks...
I'm super excited, for me it's the best fight card in a while!....

tough fights tonight.
BJ.. Sherk is gonna take him down and try to ground and pound. Bj will use his wicked flexibility and gogoplata/armbar his ass. Or.. knock him out while avoiding the take down.
Jardine vs.Silva... i don't know.. Jardine's got a longer reach and wicked kicks. Not a lot of people know but Jardines Jiu jitsu is quite decent also. However he's got a weak chin.. Wanderlei can take a punch and has endured some battles.
tito v Machida, another tough fight. I dislike tito, but Machida has not fought anyone with tito's level of ground and pound. How good is Karate once you are taken to the ground? we'll find out tonight. Machida has an erratic style and his jiu jitsu is NOT BAD AT ALL.
He came by our san mateo academy to visit a friend a couple of months ago while he trained in san jose and he might pull off a submission if taken to the ground, but i wouldn't bet on it.
I'll give the victory to Tito if he takes it to the ground.. Machida might pull a decision if they stay standing.

DAMN!!!! Tito got owned like a slave by the fucking judges (not that I'm complaining). 30-27 Machida. I thought it may go to a decision but FUCK 30-27? I'd have rated it a 29-28 Machida in my opinion at least. Really makes you wonder how much Dana slipped the judges under table to make Tito's last fight THAT embarrassing for him?
I'm glad Tito's gone. Now he can move on to more exciting things....porno. His on screen name could be "Pumpkinhead".

Looks like Penn will be taking this one home thus far. Sean's taking a serious beating by BJ's superb boxing skills. I'm not sure why Sherk hasn't tried to shoot in more.
No video yet of Silva's fight but he pulled off a 36 second vicious knock out on Jardine. Jardine went night night, woke up and went night night again.

Yeah, I don't like Bj Penn, but Sherk put on a a really disapointing fight...He was throwing hard, but I didn't see a scratch on Bj at all....
Jardine got KNOCKED THE FUCK OUT....
I think Ortiz waited too long and payed the price by the judges....

Judges on the tito fight?? HAHAHHA Dude tito didn't do shit other than get his ass beat. Judges scored it just right if you ask me.
Jardine WOW totally knocked out, for days too! I'd have thought he would last a bit longer than he did. I'm surprised he was able to walk out of the cage under his own power after the beating he took.
BJ - He just let homeboy walk into his hands. He didn't have to do much other than stick his arm out hahahaha....and the knee to the face at the end was awesome.

Agreed. Tito lost that fight, but that guy was running around and only playing tag. A fight didn't even happen in my opinion ![[Roll Eyes]](rolleyes.gif) I wish Machida stood up and fought instead of running. I hate it when fighters only go for points (thats why I don't watch boxing anymore). ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

I saw the fights too and man when BJ landed that knee the whole bar went crazy! Was awesome it really came out of no where if you blinded you would have missed it. So many people were already getting up to go to the bathroom before the round ended then all of a sudden BJ knocks Sherk the fuck out. They were like HUH WHAT HAPPENED???? LOL
Oh and Machida, well, I do like his style I don't think he's running. He's not taking chances on getting sucked into Tito's game and he's sticking with what works. I don't get why people say he's running. He was moving laterally most of the time. The same argument can be made against Tito about not engaging. Tito didn't try to really work hard for take downs. He clinched a few times and he did he got denied. Machida spun him and threw Tito off him. One time Tito shot in and ended up with his face in the cage because he missed so bad LOL. Another time Machida took him down and probably would have finished Tito if the round didn't end. After that Tito was scared to take any chances of shooting. He only wanted to shoot if Machida was face to face with him he never wanted to take a chance on shooting from the outside. He was basically asking Machida to come up to him and let him shoot. The Tito of old would have took chances and shot relentlessly. But since he got denied a few times and pounded another, he played a scared game and took no chances then sat back and complained about it.
Wandy, what can you say, that foo knocked Jardine the fuck out!!!
Oh the under cards were good too. Those 170 lb asians that they brought over really kicked some ass. Both were judo experts and tossed their foes around like rag dolls. And that one BJJ guy in the 185lb class that finished Salaverry looked awesome. Good to see new talent coming in.
