I used Mothers pre-wax/wax cleaner then a clay bar after a nice wash.

Sometimes it takes multiple washes to take some hard spots out from my experience.

A power buffer is effective but you gotta be careful not to burn/swirl the paint.

if that doesnt work i can get them off for you for cheap. been detailing for 5+ years.

acid can ruin your paint...but all you have to do is pay attention to what you are doing just like everything else in life and you will be fine.

Just did the Meguiars 3 step on my Cobra.. Spent two days on it too. Did the paint cleaner twice, polish 4 times and used tech wax 2.0 to preserve it. The car is 10 years old with 97k miles and it's shinier than my neighbor's 08 F150. Biatch. LOL

Depending on how bad the water spots are. First go buy yourself a clay bar. Then rewash your car to make sure all the dirt is off of it. Then clay your car make sure you use plenty of lube some clay bars come with a lube. That usualy takes car of them if not some light polishing might be a good idea that will for sure take the water spots out.. Shoot me a pm if you need anymore help. I do detailing as a side bis.
