You should make plans on buying some ARP head studs ahead of time.

Did the Hypertech Programmer make a big difference? Did it make the turbo spool faster?

I have a set of studs just in case, $500!!!
Pics were taken at SCMX(Santa Clara Motocross).
The hypertech made a huge difference. Especially before I put the rims and tires on. Turbo spools faster, trans. shifts harder, and the jump in the low end is almost as impressive as the top end jump. The truck would burn the tires from standing start through all 5 gears with no use of the brake!! And it got 22mpgs!
Now with the rims and tires it gets about 18-19 mpgs and the tires aren't nearly as loud as any superswamper I've ever had or M/T. They wear good too.
I have since put it back to stage two to get better mileage and actually found the throttle response is much better than stage 3. I really don't need an extra 100hp and 200ft.-lbs. I'm gonna even try stage 1 and see what my mileage is like.
