At all places across the street from my work. So I'm in the market for another in dash dvd and a 60 gig video ipod to replace what was stolen.

Driver side door lock was popped with a screw driver and pry marks to the dash and speakers. If you guys have any high end stuff keep the serial numbers so that it can be entered as stolen (we do occasionally recover stuff!)

As I posted in another post these cars are very easy to break into and to steal. It only take about a minute to get in and start the car. With NO signs of a break in....

no alarm

anybody using a Clarion VRX575USB?

My old deck was a touch screen Clarion that was fully compatable with my ipod. The ipod just popped up on the screen and functioned via the touch screen. That's what I want again.

Nope I'm not into stealing but I am into learning. Let me put it this way I bought a 92 LX a month ago and I only used the car keys maybe 5 times. I just want people to know it is so simple to break into a car or even steal it. Anyone with almost no knowledge can do it. If you own a foxbody I suggest you (1) Get an alarm (2) disconnect the doors locks from the key and use an actuator (3)Put a starter kill switch in and hide it well.

Granted someone could still break the window or cut the top. At least then there would be evidence for the police to look at and would take longer and make more noise.

P.S. DO NOT trust ANY lock they are nothing but false security. Almost ANY lock can be opened in seconds.

so when I get reimbursed from AAA do you want to sell me my stuff back? homie deal prices [Razz]

I'm not as frustrated about the car being broken as much as having to take a day off to meet with insurance adjuster, body shop, and stereo shop to get estimates on repairs.
