I decided to work on turning my side job into a buisness so I sold some toys and picked up a work truck. It's a red 93 Lightning with a Vortech. Its mostly stock and only pushing 5 lbs of boost but a few mods are coming soon. I'll post up pics later today.

Its got a new trans with a shift kit already. I got it for $6500.... gotta love craigslist. The guy got pissed off with all the people flaking on him so when I showed up with the cash he took it. It's only got 104K on it and the carfax checked out. The blower has only been on the truck for about 6 months or so.

I have to figure out a boost problem though. It will sometimes push 4-5#s and then other times nothing. I think its the bypass valve is sticking just letting the boost go back into the air intake hose.

Better fix that before getting into boost again cuzz that can could bend the blades.

I drove it around all day today and it seemed fine. I think that I might replace the valve anyway just to make sure its ok. What Vortech is a V1?

I know.... I know. Its easy for something to spiral out of controll sometimes. At least this way I can tell my customers that I wont be late to the job!
