i did autocross with SCCA and AAX a few years ago when I had my 96 saleen. It was fun, but the 60 second adrenaline rush was a cock tease I'd rather have 20 mins of excitement on a real race track
What car are you autox'ing with?

I ran SCCA Solo2 ESP, way back when. This would have been 2002-2003. It was cool for what it was, I personally hated trying to follow cones, but it's a great entry to Open Track events.
Where were you running at?

I have a 99 infiniti g20 i was gonna run. Just for fun. It was at the oakland colisuem parking lot. Yeah it seems to be too short but i wouldn't think id have alot of fun in the g20 at a real track (getting passed all the time) haha

scca solo events are pretty weak, you get so little runs for your money and a whole day wasted.
I like running with other groups like the bmwcca, porsche club, or speed ventures.
on a speed ventures autox day I can get 40 runs in...on a bmwcca day I get about 15, BUT the tracks are built bigger so you can get up to higher speeds than scca layouts which seem to be under 50mph.
