I took my R up to Sears Point for the NASA HPDE sessions. I used a small camera velcro'd onto the rear view mirror to shoot this video. Windows Media Video format. All three are the same content, just different quality, and size files.
Low quality, 557k http://www.edweird.com/R154SPJun03lo.wmv
Medium quality, 1.94 MB http://www.edweird.com/R154SPJun03med.wmv
High quality, 4.41 MB, right click and save to your system because my server doesn't have enough bandwidth to stream it. http://www.edweird.com/R154SPJun03hi.wmv
Enjoy,
Ed

I was running in group 2, which is combined with group 1. We had a new Mach1 in our group. I spoke with the young lady driving it. She had only learned how to drive a manual the week before when she took delivery. We also had a Subaru that wiped out on turn 10 during the last session.

I've still got the Kuhmo Ecsta 712's on the stock wheels. After 2500 miles and 3 track days, they don't look bad at all. When they wear out, I'll get something a little softer, maybe the MX's.
Top speed was about 105 in a couple places. Into 4th gear and full throttle for a couple seconds before having to slow.
The race groups that I saw were running about 1:55-2:00 laps around the track. Add about 20-25 seconds more to that for my best lap.
