NASA's also running the HPDE stuff again. I'm signed up for which ever date is NOT the same as the CAFORDS car show. I think Sunday is when I'll be in HPDE group 2.

The car show is sat. so you'll be in HPDE 2 on sunday then. I have to be there both days. I'm trying to improve and be competing next year in American Iron series. Hope to see a lot of mustangs there. Theres always tons of rice cars, but no american thunder.

Bimmer24~~~How much are you paying to run in the American Iron series?....Do you pay by event or by season?....

You pay entry fees per event. It is usually in the $275 range for a race weekend, the big tracks like Fontana and Las Vegas cost a bit more becasue of the track rental fees. You get one each practice, qualifying session and race on Saturday and Sunday. Depending on how hard you drive, a set of the AI spec Toyos will last 3-5 weekends and cost about $200 each for 275-40-17, and 35-50 gallons of race fuel each weekend.
