MUCH cheaper along with more choices in tires. I don't think 18" wheels are that big of a difference anyways. The new Kuhmo Ecsta MX tires look nice too!! I would have had them on my car at Thunderhill that day, but they were still backordered. Sell the 18"s you got from Stan and use the $$$ to get a good 17" setup. There is a good reason as to why very few race on the 18"s. Too expensive and few choices for tires. If you look at a majority of race cars in the GT classes, you'll find 17" wheels are the norm. Good balance between size and sidewall flex.
