All i can say is im hooked!! I went for my first time today and it was soo much fun, I got the hang of it real fast. I ran 35.1 vetts were 33.5 rices were about 43.0 and a viper GTSR i believe had the best at 27.4 Got great footage! hope to see you guys out there too!!! www.geocities.com/kevtopgun/autocross.html

Dude that is sickk!!! Did you spin out at all? I don't know how I would do on those curves and all. Looks like fun. I would hella like to try that. Good job bro..

thanks. no i didnt spin out and i didnt hit any cones. but its cool if you do spin out. lots do and its expected....and its sorta fun too. i got the back end out on those turns though. it was perfect. it will be in the 98cobra.com video for sure!

cool, I have always been enterested in trying it but always embarrased if I spun out. But I guess if it's expected then it's cool. But fun anyway. Where else can you go and drive like a madman and no risk of getting tickets..?? ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

yeah dont even worry about spinnin. the deal is its 30 bucks. sighn up at 8. there are 4 groups, youll be in one of 4 depending on how your car is set up. each group gets 4 runs. you are required to work one group since they work for you when you run your group. your at a corner with 2-3 guys. one with a radio to say what car knocked over a cone, one with a red flag in case you ned to shut down the track, and one to run out and put the cone back up. its fun. you need a helmet, you can have riders 12 years old min. they are suprisingl really laxed about rules and stuff. they do a quick easy techh too. each group takes about .5-1.5 hours. btw, you only work half a group so its like 45 min if that. you wont know when your group runs till 830 bc they alternate. i was first yesterday and i had to stay and work the 3rd group so i had to stay. so you could run at 8 or run at 2, you wont know till then. its soo much fin watching though. see people spin out n stuff. We need to have a 98cobra.com day. its great. well im off for my first day of work at safeway deli. lata

Hey that kicked ass!, Kevin kept getting faster with each pass, I cant wait to see the video from inside the cobra, had a blast, oh yeah the marks from taking out 8 or 9 cones rubbed out and they left no scratchs My best time was a 33.010 , but I only got to three times ![[Mad]](mad.gif) because my dumb ass overdrove the car into the long right hander, oh well heres to legal tire buring and sweeling
