Wow they finally came out with it. They've only been promising the SLA front end for the last 5 years. Looks like another upgrade in the future for me. We'll see how it takes to the track first

doesnt look anything like factory fives design at all
if u look at the suspension on my cobra it looks almost identical, it all has to be close because a double a arm can only be so sdiffernt, but the upper control arm are a true clone, no difference, even uses the same front adjusters with the knurl that wears off in 10 minutes
its nice to have a bolt on kit, but damn, it took them a long time to come u with sometihing that already exists on an very very similar car

The idea is cool, but not legal in many of the classes for racing. Shame.

At least it's a high quality part. Of course there is more to a suspension than control arms.

Well I spoke to Patrick over at Griggs about the new set up. Just like anything else if you want the best possible set up be willing to shell out some serious cash. From what I was told it will work with their standard K-member. Also you'll need their severe duty front control arms for the kit to work. As far as pricing goes all I could get out of him was 2-3K for the SLA set up. They were telling me with this front end that there is only a difference of +- 5 degree's across the whole tire which is a major improvement from the standard stuff. Also their SLA front end is legal for American Iron. Damn it's spendy though

I would say the name is just as stong as ever with regards to their "specialty" which is and has always been suspension.
Sounds like a damn nice kit from what I have read on it, but very pricey. Then again, what isn't these days? Pricey that is.
