Does anyone know of someone who would want to part with this hood? I know they used to offer a hood that bolted to the stock hinges. Any info would be great thanks.

You mean this one? If so I think they still sell it. This is the expensive version of their two as it's their carbon fiber model. The fiberglass model is cheaper [ December 06, 2004, 10:56 PM: Message edited by: mtbaughs ]

I talked to John a while back, said they were still working with the hood guy on making one for the fox body, but to this day I don't think one is available. Plus your looking @ $1000 for a hood...
Plus, if your blown, you;ll probably end up cutting out part of the extractor to fit.

thats the one! I've seen this hood in the flesh and I personally think it's better looking than the Saleen hood. I think John was the guy I talked to about a year ago and he said that they used to offer it in the "hingeable" version but, since there wasn't a huge demand for it they only offer it in the lift off version. Thanks for the pic.

Steeda sells a heat extractor hood for Fox bodies in 2" and 3" cowl. I have a 2" hood. Nice quality and good price.
