I have a '90 Mustang 5.0 that has sat for many years. I used to be able to start it once in a while however I think I let is sit too long this time. I pumped out almost all the gas from the tank and replaced with fresh. Still will not start. I can spray the instake snout and it will fire up and run for a few seconds so I know this is a fuel delivery issue.
I do notice I cannot hear the fuel pump prime anymore before starting. Looking for suggestions on what to look for. How best to troubleshoot pump, shutoff switch, filter, etc.
Thanky you,
Bill

Check for fuel pressure under the hood. There should be a schrader valve at the firewall or on the fuel rail.
