Has anyone found a good color match for the interior on an 89? Specifically, I need to paint the repro ash tray door. Thanks

I have been hearing a lot of bad feedback on the color matching of the LMR paints. This is recent too.

Many people say LMR colors are a little off. You'll have to mix your own to get a perfect match. It will take a few tries.

Perhaps the colors are spot on, but when the car was new. Interior colors fade a bit after 20+ years. That's probably the difference.

How well does it hold up compared to factory? Does it rub off?

I have used Sem products several times with good results on dash pads. The one area that’s a problem is seat belt sleeves on the Fox bodies, especially the repro one. It scratches off.
Beware some repro dashpads are urathane and are labeled not to be painted.
