I’m getting ready to replace both front frame rails in my 91 fox because of rust damage and was curious if anyone has done it before and had any helpful tips or tricks that might make the project a little easier. I bought the fox rails from latemodel already and have the car completely torn down. Any info helps thanks

Several guys have done this over on foureyedpride.com Many are from the rust belt. Note the site mainly covers 79-86 models of foxbody.

Okay right on.. do you know if the 79-86 cars dimensions are any different from a 87-93 fox? I was gonna use my buddies car as a reference for measurements. I would think they’re all the same

I've never done it but if I were you I'd measure a lot from every angle. I'd go from corner to corner, front left to front right, rear left to rear right, middle left to middle right.

Yeah neight I’ve done a bunch of measuring but the rust is so bad it looks like the frame got tweaked out of alignment a little bit so I’m not sure if those are true measurements. So I was gonna use my boys 86 G.T. and get measurements from his car.

Go measure some frames at a junk yard if they still have foxbodies at your local yard.

That’s gonna help quite a bit. Exactly what I needed. Thanks dude. Gonna start welding it up in the next week or two and I’ll post some pics of my progress
