I have 2001 cobra and it had 97k miles. The check engine light turned on and it showed a misfire in cylinder 7. I took it to the dealer to run a full diagnostic and it turns it out that it has really low compression. What are my options? Should I rebuild the motor? Would it cost the same as getting a new motor? Any help would be appreciated!

If you got the money. Rebuild it. If not. Try finding a good deal on the engine.

All depends on the shop you go to. They vary. Maybe 1-2gs is average cost. That's if you buy your own rebuild kit and have someone do the labor.

If you're looking to keep it cheap, swap in an Aviator or Mach1 longblock. Used ones in good shape can be had for cheap!
