What fluid have you replaced it with? If you've replaced it at all. I've read mixed reviews on other searches and forums but wanted to see what the CA Fords consensus was here.
So far I have come up with Motorcraft Mercon V ATF...sound about right to anyone? [ 2016-10-29, 03:42 PM: Message edited by: Autumnstang97 ]

I used the mobile 1 stuff and didnt like it. Hard shifts when cold nd 1-2 shift was notchy. Went away after switching to the penzoil stuff. quote: Originally posted by 93ReefBlue5.0: i called tremec last year to ask what fluid to use in the 3650. they said mercon 3 or mobil 1 synthetic atf which is what i went with. smooth shifts hot or cold.

The factory recommended Mercon is the best. Think about it, if a few bucks more on oil would make the transmission last longer or work better, Tremec would recommended it to save them thousands of dollars on warranty returns. Don't try to out engineer the real engineers at Tremec and use what they recommend.
