Recently cleaned my IAC then replaced it because the idle was running choppy upon letting off accelerator and coasting. After replacing it I used some throttle body cleaner and got the build up from around the edges of the throttle opening and butterflies. When i started it up the idle hangs at 1500 rpm. It will also sit at 1500 rpm when I'm coasting until I come to a stop then settles to 900. I also replaced the TPS WITH no luck. I checked the vacuum lines and they seem to look ok. I also readjusted my CAI and my maf looks clean. Any ideas? No engine codes are coming up on the dash diagnostic.

You probably just need to close the throttle blade a bit and adjust the tps.

Looks like the TPS is way high reading at 1.73v. How do adjust it? There's no way to drill wider holes on this one.

Happened with my Bullitt. If you did not change your IAC with a Motorcraft one, do that first because the solenoids end up failing after time. If replaced, check for vacuum leaks (spray carb cleaner near hoses and see if there is a change in idle because if it changes, you have a leak), and also check O2 sensors. I went and changed all my emissions to new Motorcraft and I still had my RPM hand. Put new intake gasket, EGR, IAC, Plugs, thermostat, temperatur sensor, a lot of changed. None of them worked, ended up being my O2 sensors went bad and it fixed my issue. I'd bet anything your issue is a old and bad IAC.
