I'm currently running Eibach Pro kit springs paired with Koni STR.T struts. I want the front to be stiffer, but not harsher. Thinking about swapping the struts for the yellow Koni adjustables, so I can go full stiff during track days and full soft on the street.
Does anyone run this setup (Pro kit with Koni yellows)? Any feedback?
Question is, will the front be significantly stiffer by replacing the struts and keeping the same spring? Also, when going full soft on the yellows, will it ride as comfortable as the orange STR.Ts?
Car is a '99 GT.

Koni yellows will for sure stiffen it ALOT, at full stiff. I run them all around.

I am running eibach pro's and fully adjustable yellow koni's they do stiffen more than my liking but I would assume great for the track "mines a street car" But I am able to adjust to my liking for the fronts... the rear is a different story though I have a notch with nothing in the trunk "pretty light" if I have it too stiff my car vibrates a lot, so I keep them a little too soft that my rear squats more than I like it too causing my 315's to rub....still working on a solution.
Back to you, it's a nice set up, and down the road your a step ahead for coil overs, go for it. I don't think you would want to run full soft for street, it gets a bit bouncy. But hey that answers your question they can be really stiff or soft, and anywhere in between imo. [ 2016-07-22, 11:14 PM: Message edited by: Stangn5oh ]

Currently running H&R race springs with Koni yellow single adjustables and I don't feel that they are too stiff. Singles will only adjust rebound, not bump.

My favorite setup has always been double adjustables with a coilover kit.
If you'd like a price on anything, shoot me a PM with some part numbers and i'll see what I can do as a forum discount.
Thanks,
