So after I got my car finished up I have this high pitch whistling sound coming from somewhere around the intake. I've done a smoke test and I have no vacuum leaks but the noise doesn't stop. I was wondering where this noise could be coming from, anyone have any ideas? I have a Trickflow R intake if that matters.

BBK Throttle body? I have read some posts about the BBK's doing that. Mine doesn't but I've read about some issues.

I do have a BBK throttle body but it never whistled at idle just when I got on it. I'll look into it tho because the sound is annoying.

Spray brake cleaner and you'll find where it's coming from

I've google searched to see if anyone else had this problem with the same intake. Apparently its a common thing with these intake/throttle body combos. I'll figure out what it is and get it to stop because this noise is annoying unlike a V1 blower(music to my ears).

My BBK throttle body used to whistle at idle, if you raised the idle RPM it would go away. I know a lot of people smooth out the sharp edges were the TB and IAC meet. Or just get an accufab and call it a day.

I have a professional products 65 or 70MM throttle body that does the same thing at idle and when you shut it off, annoying at times but I've heard its common with certain aftermarket throttle bodies
