Does anyone know what type of mount this is: motor or tranny? I had a customer come in with this mount and does not know where he pulled it off from (I know do not ask haha). He is working on a 1950 Chevy Truck style line sedan! I am stumped!!
Can anyone help!

It looks like a transmission mount...

Only reason I believe its a trans mount is the two holes. I believe the chevys engine mounts for 50s have just a single hole for the stud to pass through.
And the transmission had two holes to pass two bolts through to mount it on the crossmember to trans.
HOWEVER...I am not a Chevy person. I never owned one, and never will...so I am not for certain. Its just my educated guess...
Good luck and let us know what you find out.

this is a transmission mount not sure of the year or which trans. i would guess 1948 to 1953 could have been off a truck.
