Sup folks i have an 89 foxbody i just picked up moslty stock everything budt does have lowering springs. Heres the thing asni drive thru bums or potholes takes them relly hard to the point that i feel it can easly crack a rim. Before i start buying thinks to fix it i want a lil input.Im guessing ot can me my shocks are gone and will ne to be replaced. What do you guys think it can be ? Thanks cafords

check tire pressure as well as the tread of the tires. If they are old, worn down, cracked, weathered or over inflated, it can cause this. What type of springs does the car have? If the shocks are worn out, the car will bounce continuously.

I've had bad struts do that. Where they had no give the valving locked up inside.

@ 92_50 tires are good what lowering it has idk and it doesnt bounce up and down, its just takes potholes very hard i am sure the shocks are shot.

stock shocks or adjustable shocks? when i had my kyb adjustables if they were on the highest setting it acted this way.
Check the rear shocks and quadshocks too

I might sound stupid but are the front struts and shocks are in the rear ?

Lowering springs themselves can cause a stiff ride too. Find out what kind u have just to be sure they aren't stock coils that been cut.
