hello, i recently purchased a GT40 intake (non tubular) for a 302 5.0

the baffle on lower intake is missing, is it okay to run without the baffle? what will be the negative effects if so? will intake spacer help with heat? anyone have a baffle for sale if needed?

thanks for help,
Chad

That baffle is always required. You will suck up a lot of oil and gum up your valves with out it. You can download this .doc template file and make your own. http://eectuning.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=14019

You are welcome. It should fit. Print it out and cut out the outline with scissors. Punch holes in the paper where the rivet holes go. Place the paper template on your intake to confirm the rivet holes in the paper line up with the rivets on your lower intake.

The baffle in the back of the lower? I have a used one you can have but I'm pretty far from you to be worth the drive.
