My son slid his 2000 GT into a curb. (Guess who's not driving it at the moment)
Resulted in one of the rear brake calipers being cocked a bit and making contact with the rotor.
We've pulled everything down to and including axle removal, checking for runout on a set of lubricated V-blocks and a magnetic dial indicator. Runout measures .024" on the axle flange face.
I can only find one specification listing online at .030" from the factory, and wonder if anyone can confirm or suggest a different spec?
Do we replace at .024", or reinstall as it appears to be within spec according to the one listing I found?
New rotors, pads, caliper mount, seals, fluid going in. Just gotta decide on a new axle or not.
Thanks!
