Sup fellas i recently replaced the oil pan gasket due to leaking and smoking. But now the leaking has stoped and its still smoking heavily from underneath and all the way thru the h-pipe.Here's the thing the smoking stops when i open up the oil cap doesnt stop completely but smoke is noticeable.Ive been told it can be the pcv valve ohh and forgot to mention oil presure is low .

Do you have a lot of miles on that motor? Sounds like its time for a rebuild. Also did you clean off all of the old oil that leaked on the exhaust? Definitely change your pcv, your not getting proper crankcase ventilation. Maybe put an open breather [ 2015-07-27, 12:19 PM: Message edited by: 92_5.0 ]

i was also just reading about pcv valves and sounds like that might be the problem it might be clogged up and not working. As i mentioned in the original post the car was leaking oil from the oil pan ans heavily smoking so i went and replaced the gasket witch is weir because the gsaket or neither the pan looked damaged. Now the pcv valve alows presure and corrosive gasses to esacpe and with it being dammaged pressure builds up and smoked untill i remove the oil cap then it stops. So thats where ill be starting.

Pull the PVC valve hose out out and put your finger on it. If it's not sucking air, trace the hose to the intake for a clog.
