Did a T5 swap into this 4 banger and I noticed the pilot on the auto speedo gear is longer than the manual type.
Just wondering if swapping out the automatic speedo gear with the manual type would work on an "auto" speed sensor? Is there a difference between the sensors if there is any differences?
Also would it work if I just trim it shorter to match the manual speedo gear?

Are you talking about the VSS??
The sensor is the same, just the gear is different between auto & manual.. You should be fine by just swapping the gears..

Thanks for the response. Yah, I just trimmed the pilot on the Auto speedo gear so that it was the same length as the manual speedo gear. fits just fine.
