I have a MMR 1000 shortblock with 20K miles. Every time i turn the car on, there is a good puff of white smoke. I really can't smell what it is, but it's a lot some times. I haven't noticed the coolant levels drop, or oil being burned. Anyone local to Mountain View know how to do a compression/leak down test? How much should I expect to pay for one? I was planning on getting a supercharger installed on this 99 cobra, but want to make sure the engine is running strong before putting more money into this money pit. I'd appreciate some help. Thanks!

white smoke is usually an indication of a blown head gasket. Check your oil?

Oil seemed fine. Anyone local I can take my car to? I'd rather pay someone here than some random shop.
