Ok I have a 93 with a t5 and like two days ago it stated popping out of 1st gear from a stop but when it's rolling it won't and don't want to take it out and pay 100+ to have a shop tell me it's a 20$ part any ideas what it mite be

rebuild it, if it pops out its fucked get it fixed now while its kinda cheap.
there is no heap fix, the tranny needs to be opened up
