I just bought a 90 coupe this past weekend and the car runs great without issues (almost) however when I turn a corner it seems to starve for fuel. It will bog out and I'll have to let off the gas. Not sure what it could be, any ideas? Bad gas tank? Sending unit or fuel pump?

my `89 did that and it ended up the little baffle tray the fuel pump sits in, inside the gas tank, broke off from the tank so the fuel pump wasn't getting fuel to pick up.
the fuel pump died shortly after that started happening, probably from overheating. Was quite obvious after dropping the tank something was f'd up as the inner assembly was bouncing around inside.
but it could also be the ignition switch in the steering column, the part that your key moves when you turn the car on. Once it gets worn out the switch can cause funny issues during turns. [ 2014-04-28, 11:38 AM: Message edited by: Blind ]

That's exactly what my first thought was, a broken baffle in the tank. I might try changing the tank. I have a good tank and brand new fuel pump and ending unit from an old project..
