Ok this question has been asked since the oil filter was invented. WHAT OIL FILTER DO YOU GUYS USE??? I do not use FRAM and have only had one issue with one. But since then we normally avoid fram filters like the PLAGUE. We use motor-craft wicks and NAPA which is made by wicks. Any input on this is well received and i think a good topic. lay it on me guys!!!

Wix racing on my race car and the standard wix on my street cars and truck. The wix racing has a thicker case.

what you want is a low micron rated filter with great flow k&n filters down to 25 microns but wont say what is absolute where as the amsoil filter is 100% at 20 microns has excellent flow and holding capacities prefer to no what is absolute same as in air filtering micron rating is extremely important as we dont want rubbing compound in our engines

I use the silver fram tough guard, never had any issues. I've used motorcraft too, I notice that they are bigger in diameter though making it hard to fit on my setup.
