Hello ca fords I have a 1988 mustang 5.0 all stock I'm no mechanic but as a do it yourselfer kind of guy I tried to tune it up myself and now car runs worse I don't know if wires are crossed or spark plugs were not gaped correctly any suggestions thanks

double check your spark plug wires are routed in correct order.
did you check spark plug gap? stock should be .50 iirc

Ok thanks will double check the spark plug order n gaping thanks a lot man sooo stressful though just want her to run normal n pass smog

FWIW there are 2 302 firing orders. You want the HO firing order 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 I think it is
