Anyways there's a rear mount bracket that swings into the frame rail near the gas tank. From why I understand the frame rail is empty that's why it bends. Simple and after a lot of dogging, still no issues at all. I used a hole saw to get through the trunk sheet metal so I wouldn't crush the already weak frame rail. I also didn't want to cut too much because the trunk floor boxes the frame rail.
